Welcome to NPS Club!

The Next Programming Star club is a free coding club in Castro Valley High School started by experienced programmer Stephen Ou.

Meetings are on every Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 in Room 513 (the computer lab). All students are welcome, regardless of experience or grade levels.

We will teach students everything they need to do web development and web design. This is where all the hot jobs are now and in the future, so it will be beneficial for high school students to get a head start and step into the industry.

The whole point of the club is to offer you direct help when you have any questions, which can be very helpful considering you can get stuck for hours when you are learning by yourself at home.

At the end of each year, the goal is to make sure you are proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as designing/developing websites of your own. We will also tell you about Hackathon opportunities and potential internship positions around Castro Valley.

Stephen also hosts coding lessons occasionally in the weekends and over the summer. Contact him for more details.
